Senior citizens are primary targets of these pests. Please, educate your senior kinfolk and friends to take a second to look at the caller ID. (Let us hope they have Caller ID.) If they see a name and/or number they do not recognize, they should not pick up the call. Thanks.
I have a Panasonic Land line and it allows me to BLOCK up to 30 unwanted phone calls. Otherwise, I don't know what you would do. I am on the DO NOT CALL list but there are so many of these scammers and they have thousands of numbers. Good luck
I don't answer calls that I don't know but they did not leave a message. If they are trying to Medicare as their come on I would guess Medicare has sold my number which they are not suppose to do but what more can we expect from our government.
Actually they probably use a computer to call. Give a computer a block of numbers to call and it starts calling. Basically fishing for the gullible fish.
