Not only will they NOT remove your number from their list, they'll be sure to call you even more. And to sell the number to their scamming cohorts. I had one tell me to just sign up and they'd stop calling. Seriously, why would they think anybody would "sign up" with these tactics?
Called our office landline during business hours and a male voice recording kicked in saying they were reaching out to us regarding out Google listings not showing up. Gave us two options, press 1 to speak to an agent or press 9 if your issue has been resolved and to be removed from the list. I pressed 9 and was disconnected. Call ID Displayed, "303-515-7012."

They are clearly getting more abusive and with all the problems we are having in the
world today who needs this crap for some idiot on the phone. Google let me know

This number called my place of work; I did not recognize the area code so didn't pick up; and shockingly: no message was left. Legitimate callers to my type of business leave messages.
I'm a patient guy, but the amount of times I've gone through this routine over time has to be in the hundreds -- maybe more than a thousand, (it certainly feels that way.)
This caller was blocked by my calling blocking software because it's a KNOWN telemarketing scammer. Enough said.
As I'm typing this ANOTHER Google scammer (female robot) called from 424-201-2828. "Our records indicate your Google listing ...." I hung up and blocked. Two within an hour of each other. It's gonna be one of those days. {{{sigh}}}
