I just got the call too, and I am in Michigan. I didn't pick it up though. I guess I am glad I didn't. I signed up with http://www.donotcall.gov a while ago, I wonder how I can go about reporting these [***]!
I just got the same as all of you. I am wondering if telemarketers are buying cell phone numbers from the service "1-800-free-411". Does anyone else call this from their cell phones?
Had the same thing happen to me...I have received this call before. Told them not to call again. This time I let them have it, and when I told her I wanted to be off the list she hung up. My suggesion is to file a complaint with the Attorney General's office in your state, as this could be fraud.
I just got this call two minutes ago, after googleing i found it belongs to Shirley Hall 611 Quitman St,Denver, CO 80204... Maybe i should sign up that adress to a bunch of spam and porn sites. Maybe it will stop then.
this is the FOURTH time this car warranty company has called my cell phone. despite my repeated urgings to stop calling me, they persist.
clearly a scam, they are very vague about who they are and why they can't reveal more.
they seem to have canned explanations for why they can't tell you specifics about why they are calling (for "privacy") and yet ask you about specific personal information.
I suppose there's nothing to do but keep hanging up on these people?
