I just got the call too, and I am in Michigan. I didn't pick it up though. I guess I am glad I didn't. I signed up with http://www.donotcall.gov a while ago, I wonder how I can go about reporting these [***]!
I received a call about a month ago from a woman claiming that my warrenty was about to run out on my 2 year old car. She asked my milage and said she will call back in 6 months, but I received a call today from the same number claiming my warrenty was about to expire. I pressed 1 for more information, and the guy I spoke to was dumb founded at all my questions about my 2 year old car. He didn't know what to say, so he transfered me to another person that he claims is a warrenty specialist who tells me all this bogus information. I told him I already have warranty on my car, it is only 2 years old and I bought it brand-new. He immediately stopped trying to sell me the warranty after all my questions. I asked for the company name and they did not tell me, they said they receive our numbers from the dealership and they just do courtesy calls. It sounds like a SCAM to me. Beware!!!
