Just got a call from the same number. The message I received told me to log onto verizonthankyou.com for a $100 towards my next phone bill. I checked it out and as much as I could tell the page was a mirror image of the actual verizon website. The difference was in the log in menu, which looked similar to Verizon's site, but asked for more info. The links on this fake page seem to send you to the real Verizon page from what I could tell.
I just received the same message, saying to go to verizon.summertime.com, and log into my account, and I will be given $100 off our verizon wireless bill. Thanks to your messages I see it is just a scam.
Received the call from the phone number listed above with the same information. The number was 303-731-3432 claiming I'd won the "Summer Bonus" from Verizon and I would get a $100 credit to my next phone bill. Gave a website, but I did not go to it.
My message said to log in to
www.verizonsupersummer.com
It was a professional, well laid out site!
However, someone in these postings said they had put in random login data; so I did that and got a hearty congratulations! So I closed that window without exploring my wonderful $100 deal!
