The call came from a Ms. Perkins and then again from Ms. White. They claim it is from a payday loan that was not paid. They had an very old address. They said that if I do not pay now they are going to file litigation and present in court. They wanted me to send the money through Western Union and would not give me an address to mail to. The name of the company is Innovations Resources out of Florida. They gave a fake account number. Beware.
They use multiple numbers I jave now logged 21 sep #'s for this scam.
Do NOT give any info and just hang up
They demand $ if not they claim you will be arrested in 2 hrs.
Contact the FBI since they are committing bank fraud and wire fraud when they demand moneygram or western union be sent to a bank in CO. The bank states its a scam and they have notified the local police in CO but they do nothing to drain the act, freeze the acct and shut down the problem.
Maybe they are too stoned in CO to even care.
Contact the FBI and place complaints on the donotcall.gov/complaints website of the FCC.
The person that called me said that his name was Steven James and he was from the Fraud Division of District 217. Didn't say who he was calling for but said that "your name and case is now being downloaded in ?? county (couldn't understand if he said your county or York county). today for further litigations. If it is unnecessary to have you pursued over the alledged allegations, we need to hear from you immediately, preferably before the allegations are actually filed." He said to contact him or one of his associates at 720-496-4250. I find it absolutely amazing how these people can call from one state and be in another state to call them back in.
