same here, some "indian," sounding scammer wanting to fix computer
weird he called from a scammed voip phone number
this scam has been going on for years according to microsoft's website
weird that with all the computing power that is out there they have no clue how to stop this type of criminal enterprise?
maybe they make money when these low life scum get busy?
Call shows as cell phone. Guy has thick accent (Indian?) and states the computer with windows operating system is infected with virus. Asked who he was, he said he was with Microsoft. Told him I didn't have a windows computer and he hung up on me.
This person who sounded Asian called and asked to speak to my husband and he knew his name. When I told him he was dead, he then asked to talk to the person who owns the computer. I told him take a hike and I was not born yesterday.
Call came from Colorado but when I called back to get a company name, the message was that the person to this number is unavailable.
So sick of these people and they should be put in jail.
Received a call today from this number. When my husband answered it, someone asked how our computer was doing today. My husband said great and hung up on them.
