I got a call from this number today. Very thick possible Indian or Pakistani accent. Requested to speak with my spouse. I told the caller my husband is hearing impaired and doesn/t use the phone. The caller then asked if we had a "Windows computer". I told the caller "no" and hung up. Caller had this Colorado phone number but with an area code that is not used for cell phones in Colorado. This looks like a scam to obtain access to the computer or identity theft by someone outside the country.
I received a phone call from this # this am - he said he was calling to help me with my computer problems - accent sounded like he was from Phillipines or an eastern country- I had not contacted anyone about having problems - I told him to take me off his list and he continued to tell me that my computer had problems - I hung up.
Got a call from this number, but it had 011 before the area code. This is like an international access code. Didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.
I recieved a call like this from spmeone wifth heavy accent (middle east accent) stated he was there to help with my virsus on my computer. Just so happened I had virsus onmy computer so I taught he was legit. Caller claims he was from California. I gave him permission tomhelp, all of a sudden, my flies were disappearing! I try shutting down my computer, but couldn't so I pull the plug. It was my lap top, which was connected to my internet, by a Router. After that I could get on the internet and could run my virsus program. Please do report this to Federal Gov't, legit.
