The same thing has been happening to me lately. Somebody keeps calling me from 304-445-5940 a lot and they never leave a message. When I call the number back I get 2 beeps, then a dial tone. I would like this person or company to be investigated and harrasment charges filed against them. These people are just calling to harras me and I want it stopped!
Got the call, just reported these idiots. I asked them for their SS number and told them I would give them mine if they gave me theirs. I then went into a rambling rant and pretended to be deranged and started asking them about aliens. I told them i haven't been outside in a month because of tin foil over my windows and doors. Then I would ask about the services they offered and pretend to be interested. I laid the phone down and went and checked the mail, when I returned they were still there. I then talked some more and gave them a fake CC number and while they tried to figure that out I loaded my 9mm and stepped out into the yard ( i live in the country) and popped off a few rounds. I told them I was shooting at aliens. They hung up.
This is weird. Today I was out and when I returned home I noticed that thsi phone number was on my caller ID, no one left a message, but now that I have read all of theses posts, if they call again I will report them also since I am on the DO NOT Call registry. Thanks for the heads up guys!
You were raised by your parents to be nice to others but these [***] are scammers and don't honor the DoNotCall Registry so don't bother being nice, just scream obscenities at them or buy a whistle or air horn and blow their ears off.
Called this morning at 10:15. Left no message on our machine. Just filed a complaint with the FTC, as we're on the DNC. This sort of stuff just shouldn't be permitted.
Same BS as all of the others are reporting. Lower my credit card interest rate? I have not paid an interest charge on any anything in 20 years. I pay our personal and my business credits n FULL each month. Once I told him that, here it came. .....rude, cursed, etc. A SCAM........why can't our governmental friends who are "supposedly" running the Do Not Call System stop this crap?
