Received a call from 304-841-0014. Did not leave a message. I looked up the number to see if anyone else is receiving calls from this number and apparently they are many people who are receiving these type of calls.
I just received a call from the number 304-841-0014. My husband answered the phone and there was a message, very low volume, all he could make out was " you may be the only person in this conference call". I called the number back, thinking it sounded odd, and I got the same response as all I have just read. It's to confirm an order. I have placed orders for little things from reputable companies that I know have nothing to do with anything like this. Believe me, I know JC Penney's doesn't do that. Does anyone know if there is a way anyone can charge people for orders you didn't make? If they can, how on earth would they do it?
I spoke with the AR Attorney General's office, and they suggest filing a complaint with the National Do Not Call site EVERYTIME you get a call from this number. The Do Not Call site is overseen by the Federal Trade Commission and they can fine this "company" up to $10,000 PER OFFENSE. Also the number is from West Virginia, so we might can contact the WV Attorney General's office also. Stay on top of this to help me STOP THESE CALLS. Multiple calls at all hours of the day and night is very disruptive to my family!
i found out that if you fill out a survey online that your status on the do not call list is voided so that they can call you because you provided the information to the survey. i actually tried the service that they offered me and it does work i am saving at least 75 dollars a month so i dont know what other people are complaining about
