I think you work for these people because you are the only one with good things to say, you keep telling people to try, & you are not even saying what you are aving money on. So as a result I don't think anyone will take your replies as legit.
We are getting the same type phone calls. They will not stop. And do not be so sure that Penney's won't sell your email and phone number. Always ask, or look and the small print and the bottom of the order,or in the internet order policy to see if your privacy is protected.
I received a call from #304-841-0014 this morning, January 8, 2010.
Fortunately, I did not answer the call.
From some of the other posts, this person needs to be apprehended and dealt with.
I got a call from 304-841-0014 on the 19th. Yesterday I got an email titled:YOU SHOULD GET ONE OF THESE from a reliable friend. It was stating she had gotten an apple computer by going to this website beta.applegifts.net
I got several pages into the application for this when I realized it was asking for info I never post online.
When I backed out to the first page to erase all the information, I noticed my name, address, phone and email were posted on all the pages automatically. I did not think I had to erase all of those as well since I was not submitting the final step of the application.
WRONG! This morning I had 8 emails offering unsolicited services:credit reports, grant information, hip replacement information etc. Also, when I answered the phone, there was no answer. I retreived the phone and called it: 304 841 0014 and there was a recording saying this call is only to verify your phone and no further information is required. There was no company name given. Since my computer is running slowly, I suspect this is a scam to obtain acess to my computer account and the information it contains.
Please do not open nor be seducced by "YOU SHOULD GET ONE OF THESE".
