Received call from 304-931-4286. The call sounded to be a recording and gave different options asking to press certain numbers for various information.
The one option was in regards to alleged information concerning my acount. I did not comply with any of the requests as this call appeared suspicious in nature.
They called and told me to press 1 for english. So I did. But the stupid thing kept saying your call is important so please continue to hold. Sorry but if they want to talk to me then they should call me not a computer.
A friend of mine, who is a lawyer, told me that if you tell even bill collecting companies to stop calling you, they have to stop. If not, write down the number and name of the company, date and time that you told them to stop calling and the dates and times they call after you told them to stop. It is harrassment if they don't stop calling after you tell them to. Then, call a lawyer.
