I recieved a call from this number on my cell and ask is this (someone) and I told them it was and they hung up. I called them back and only got a prerecorded mesage saying if you know your part ext please enter it now if now press 0 and a operator will help you, I pushed 0 and it said call back later

I work for Edmond, Deaton & Stephens Insurance company in Amarillo, TX. This company is a legit company. They call us to verify home insurance, and Im not sure if they do commercial insurance. We are an Independent Agency that sales insurance for multiple companies like Safeco, Travelers, Zurich, State auto Hartford, instead of an agency that only does business thru one company, meaning State Farm or Farm Bureau. As far as the check you got in the mail goes, I would always call a company if you arent sure why you re recieving it. Just always do some research if you are worried about it being a scam. We all gotta be careful nowadays.
They left a message ... they were with Green Tree Mortgage Company ... which is in fact our mortgage company. It was the escrow department ... call back number she left was 866-862-5702.
