They called the house and a woman by the name of Maria Reyes, who spoke Spanish, asked my grandmother for me but I was at work. She then told her I had two letters I needed to pick up from the post office and gave her 6 digits for me to use. She also asked her for her name and her birthdate to see if she qualifies for a senior gift the post office is promoting. I went straight there from work to find out it wasn't true. Had I seen what the caller ID showed or had more information of the conversation my grandma had prior to be going I've would have know it was a scam.
They called my parents thEy spoke with my dad about a package at the post office that needed to be picked up and they said to pick it up at nine the next day and asked him for his birthday
Today 4/21/2015 at 9:23am I receive a call from this number 1305-262-3248 and the callerd ID Mesa Ramon.. Asking for the owner of the house. I told her because it was a gir that she was not home. She told me that there was something that try to deliver but like no one was home it was detained in the mail office. She ask for my name and I gave her my name and last name she ask me question that I answer YES and if I was an Adult to verify my birthday I told her I was under age but that I wasn't going to give her my bday . She gave me a number to go and pick up my mail she gave it to me I repeated not the way she wanted and god made she waned me to repeat it all together.. Know by seeing this got me thinking...
This guy identified himself as Mr. Lopez (speaking in Spanish) and told me that I had a certified letter for me to pick up at my local post office because they had problems with their system. As soon as I noted that his phone number was out of my area I consider the call spoofing and this was confirmed when he insisted several times to repeat back to him the number of the certified letter that he was doing reference at the beginning of our conversation. I never repeated back the number and told him that I would go by the Post Office and ended the conversation. I called him back several times later, but no answer.
Just received several "bullying telephone calls" from someone calling herself, Margarita Gonzalez, very pushy individual, FROM MASON RAMON, asking all sort of personal questions, with the excuse that I had two Certified Envelopes at the Local Post Office that needed to be picked up... she went as far as asking me "if I was out of the Country"....
Inmmediately VISITED the Local Post Office, where they confirmed they didn't recognized the Mail Ref. Number she provided, her name as an employee of the Post Office, or the 305-262-3248 phone number. I reported this incident to the Doral Post Office Supervisor who promised to investigate asap!
