i checked the tax records for the house i was looking to rent and it was the same name. so the person doing this is making up the email address for the owner
I also responded to a Craig's List add for a property in PA,
and received the same e-mail.
I was very suspicious, so I looked up the phone # provided,
and found this scam alert.
This person also scammed me into renting a house. I knew the offer seemed to good to be true. Don't be fooled by this person. He sent me the same EXACT email as the stephanie girl. don't go for it. thank god i saw this so i know that i wasn't the only one that got offers and calls from this phone number. thank you so much
