I wondered if these calls are generated from a listing on ebay? I only have the number they are calling listed with ebay. Does anyone else see a connection here?
Good practice, but don't let that fool you. I've had to help many people with the same line "only close friends have my.." Later they find out they've been cracked and spoofed. Be mindful. In all honesty, they are the easiest to fool since all it takes is few "tools" to get access. There is no such thing anymore as having a private circle.
I received a call from this number at my office- the man who called had a thick accent and asked for someone named Victor Johnson. I politely told him twice that no one by that name worked here. He then told me to "get a real job because you're useless." Have no idea who this person was or what they were calling for....when I tried to call back there was no dial tone.
