Have received many calls from 305-508-5486. What people don't seem to understand is that you can't block or report these telemarketers. They are using spoofed numbers and they originate their activities from overseas, which puts them outside the feeble efforts of the FCC to regulate this activity.
I'm glad you brought that up! It's not "necessarily" that the calls are "coming" from that area on the West Coast. The card service scammers, and other scammers, use spoofed numbers, which sometimes are purchased in blocks of numbers from vendors, who can be unscrupulous, not caring in which way they are used, as long as they receive their ill- gotten payments. Check out some of the 360-322-xxxx and 360-633-xxxx numbers posted, among others, in the 800notes, reported phone numbers in the 1-360 area code.
How do you block the call. I've requested to be taken off the list, seveael times and the jerk have the nerve to say he does not know me. (he was asking for my husband - the "mortgage holder".
Hi. What type of phone do you have? With most cell phones (if that is what you're using) you can click on the info button for that number and block it. Or go to your service providers website and block it from there.
