Received same phone call today from an IRS agent telling me I have to call back or they will take action against me...what a scam after reading all the reports...I've blocked the number!!
The "IRS" called me 15 minutes ago. Said 1 minute after this call I was to call my lawyer because I was in trouble with the "IRS". The IRS will not call you until they have written several letters first. They don't just call out of the blue.
The I T S just called me and said that I needed to contact my lawyer because I was in trouble. If I did not do what they wanted , actions would be taken against me. What????
They just called me and told me the same thing, plus he said do not interrup me wile im talking, and as soon i started asking questions he hung up on me, but i tell u one thing im making this a big thing, i will call my local news so we can record their [***] and let people know about this scam
"i will call my local news " This is one of the most highly publicized scams out there. I am surprised you haven't seen a TV, newspaper, heard a radio report, or have seen on on an infinite number of web sites, both private and government.
I'm getting the same annoying calls !!!
They had the nerve to leave that stupid message on m answering service. There must be something that can be done about this ???
