I just got a call from 305-587-2091. They said that they were calling to lower my interest rate and that they were calling from cardmember services. I asked the guy if he was calling from my visa card services, how come he didnt know what my current interest rate was and he hung up. I called back and got the message that this number is an unattended mailbox and it could not recive any incoming calls>>>SCAMS..
I received a recorded message from these guys, offering to lower my interest rates. It said to press 3 to talk to an agent, so I did, but only so I could find out who they are. The agent said they were called Account Management Assistance, but when I asked a few more questions, they hung up.
I reported them to the Do Not Call Registry, and I encourage everyone else to do the same. Let's get these idiots shut down!
We purchased a Panasonic cordless phone, model KX-TG6431, and it has the capability to block up to 30 telephone numbers. You can also unblock numbers and add new ones as more scammers ignore the Do Not Call registry and others finally give up. It's the best thing since sliced bread and worth every penny we paid for it! You won't find the info on blocking and unblocking numbers in the guidebook, but you'll find the path the first time you save a friend's phone number.
Just another "lower your interest rate" scam. Female voice left a message on recorder! We NEVER answer ANY calls coming from ANY number we don't recognize! Life is way too precious to waste any time on this C.R.A.P. -- always want to share information about these scammers with the good folks on these "anti-crap-calls" websites.
