Did you get any help from the police or just the run around in Miami Beach? Was this the correct Miami police dept that was in the jurisdiction of the incident?
i unfortunately just got scammed by this exact same guy but he used the name trent moore he gave us this number and an address to a hotel on ocean blvd in Miami fl my own stupidity cause it seemed to good to be true but with our love for the celtics and the want to go to the finals he got us please be careful this guy is a major scammer i hope maybe this post helps some of you avoid what i wish i could of
Buy using the same number just tried to scam me for tickets to Bonnaroo, he used the name Trent Meyerson, and address 18 Ocean Blvd, Penthouse #2, Miami, FL 33164
I guess I asked too many questions about why I couldn't see his cell phone number when he called me and why he didn't want to give me his cell phone number. He wanted me to pay via a COD payment I would authorize at a local grocery store. Also, said he was going to send me a copy of his drivers license with the tickets.
While I was talking with him on the phone, I was map searching the address and it was looking suspicious, said he was an architect for Marriot, said he got the tickets for doing work for the shows. Once I started prying, he quickly said call me at "home" (305-672-9328) tonight and got off the phone. I called that number immediately after and there is no answer.
