Well on a quick skip trace I was able to find out that this # is based out of Miami Beach Fl and your are in luck. Looks like this is a payphone issued by Bell South. By contacting the authorities in Miami or the phone company, they may be able to track this guy down if it's a scam and if he continues to use this #. Hope that helps!
This [***] did the same thing to me. He used the name Josh Miller with me and gave me the same number! Even though it sounded too good to be true.... I did it..... and a few minutes after I did it.... I knew I had been scammed. This [***] had already gotten my money! PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!
As everyone has noted this is a scam. Unfortuntely, I fell for it to the tune of almost $400. The caller gave his name as "Josh Freeman." Please remember: Western Union requests are pretty much always a scam. My brain didn't work this time, please make sure yours does.
Folks, this guy is scamming every single school out there. He will lie to you that if you pay for the Western Union Transfer fee he'll include free tailgate parking passes. He's scammed Clemson, Arkansas, Oregon and a whole host of schools. One thing is for sure, everytime he calls he's right at the Western Union store because within seconds of the money being sent, its picked up. Lesson for the future: if anyone calls you or emails about tickets, if there are too many details, then its probably a scam. Why should the seller go to so much trouble to convince you the whole thing is legit. I learned the hard way that when they do that, its a scam.
