They guy also told me he is an architect and is at the marriot he lives in AZ but is away on business. he gave me the same address as posted above and he walked me through the paperwork. I already called my local police they will be taking my report soon. I wish I could meet this guy!
Said he was an architect and he had 8 tickets from his DEAD FATHER. wow. This seems like a Federal Crime. I didn't fall for it. Thank Goodness for this site and other folks taking the time....
Just received call. Didnt fool me. Game me this same #3056279328. Told me he was an architect. Played along with this scam, told me he wanted me to go to kroger and pay with my debit card. Total fraud.
He used the name Chad Miller & the number 305-672-9328. I am so stupid but it was so rushed. Same story as he used with GA girl. (30 year BAMA season ticket holder, father a retired professor, etc) This just happened about 2 1/2 hours ago, Dec 7th. I got a sick feeling as I was driving away from the Piggly Wiggly where I sent the money from to that creep. A lady at work that was thinking clearly & googled the number where she found this website. I have posted a warning on craigslist so other people hunting BCS championship tickets won't be scammed & also sent a message from me to tell him before they hangup on them. I am not going to say the amount he scammed me for $1,616.I hope he is proud of himself. My family will no longer get to go to Pasadena.
