Got the same call, this time from Josh Lamb. Scammed me out of $330 for tickets to the UGA v.LSU game. 50-yard line seats that he said had been in his family for 35 years, his father had been a professor at UGA. Gave me the same line: go to publix, western union, he helped "walk me through the form" so that everything was filled in correctly. Then he gave me a fake FedEx tracking number. He told me that Fedex would take my receipt and give me the tickets and that he would then be able to access the western union funds. In hindsight, I don't know why I didn't see through this, but he seemed legit. Spent 45 minutes on the phone with him. If it seems to good to be true, it probably is.
This sob got me yesterday for $400 bucks. Talked me through everything and made it sound perfect. As soon as I got home I realized I may have made a mistake. I put in the tracking number he gave me and when it didn't work I realize I was f*****. I shoulda known once I told him I would call him back and he said he would just wait on the phone for however long it took. Somebody needs to take him down and give him the a** beating he deserves.
"Josh Blaze" called us this evening also regarding football tickets we wanted - said for me to go to Publix while I was on the phone with him to pay through money transfer similar to Paypal - (never said it was Western Union, but called I Publix and they said they only use Western Union.) He said he would send me tickets via FedEx and would only be paid once I received them. He was very hesitant to give us a phone number, but instead called me back several times while we were trying to make the transaction. He finally gave me this number. Also gave me excuses about his wife being pregnant with twins, needed to do it ASAP. Glad I didn't fall for it!!!!!!
