Robert Cohen from CCI in Miami Beach is insane. He calls the office and harasses everyone. He uses profane language, unethical collection practices and calls 100 times a day. He said he can do whatever he wants to do. We have been advised to contact the Federal Trade Commission and the Florida Attorney General's office. They have pending complaints at both departments.
We are working with the contractor owed the monies and they have since asked us to discontinue contact with CCI, Credit Counsel Inc, #800-328-8123.

Yes, that Robert Cohen is a piece of work - to say the least. He calls our office ENDLESSLY (sometimes he'll call on multiple lines, jamming our phones), and he harasses everyone who answers. His insults become progressively worse with each and every call. I have personally been called just about every derogatory, sexist term in the book. Unfortunately, so has every other female office worker lucky enough to pick up on his calls. After running out of colorfully profane remarks, he'll resort to doing things like blowing loudly into the phone. I have filed a complaint with the FTC and informed him of this, but that has yet to accomplish anything (besides being mocked for doing so). CCI has also been of no help in resolving matter. Clearly, this kind of practice is acceptable in their business model.
The contractor for the account on which he is trying to collect has been notified, and they have since told us to no longer communicate with CCI. They are kindly working with us to resolve the issue directly. However, Mr. Cohen still continues to call on a daily basis with his usual pleasantries. If he happens to use the same tactics with you, do not tolerate his antics. You do not have to be bullied. Please take the steps necessary to stop Robert Cohen and CCI, and file a complaint, as advised by Victim and Bullied bu Robert Cohen, with the Florida State Attorney General!
He started in abrasive and rude. Then we paid the debt we owed, we have been trying a policy the last few months of "Paying money as defined by contracts which we have signed and are obligated to pay by agreement and law".
It has made quite a difference! I suggest a few other people in this thread start with paying some of the money you owe to the people who have lent you money or provided goods and services to you.....it's you know...required by- um the contract you signed.
