They are not attorneys. They are debt collectors. They will pretend to be a law firm in order to scare you. They want you to give them information about this person. Basically they want you to do their job for them. Ignore them. Block their calls.
Said they were an attorney's office looking for a name that matched that of a distant cousin. Also said there was a complaint against him, a civil complaint and that I needed to have him contact them right away. Sounds like a scammer or debt collector.
They called me to tell me about a legal complaint against a person I've never heard of, and said I was part of the complaint....and I've never even been to the state where their "office" is located. I don't know how to report these people to the authorities to end their threatening calls, so if you know how please do.
