Put a warning on your credit bureau reports that someone may be trying to open accounts in your name and ask that any requests made be verified by contacting you at your address in writing unless you are making a purchase in person with verifiable ID.
They called me yesterday once. I didn't answer because I didn't know the number, I then found this website with all this info. I cant wait for them to call again. Not sure what ill say but I cant wait to mess with them. Maybe ill look up the presidents name for India and tell them that's who I am when they ask for my name!!!
They called and told me it was from ICU handling a personal matter. They wanted me to confirm my my personal information and already knew my name and home address. They wanted me to verify if i was still living at that address. I told them i didnt feel comfortable releasing that information and they became upset. Said they had told me twice who they were already and that they will try again later.
Called me did not say hello. No one said anything on their end then hung up. Called the number back and it was an automated message that said it was IC Services and asked for my IC number for my account.
