Just called, again, at 1:27pm Eastern Time. Same thing, again. ...verbatim.
I've noticed something; when I do a search for any particular number - no matter what search engine I use - 800notes, nor any of the other popular boards like it show up in my results. This makes me really wonder what is up? Is the gubermunt blocking these sites? If so, all these "junk" calls could possibly be generated by them? Checking to see if phone numbers are viable and if anyone answers and what their reactions are? ...just sayin'.......
This is not just spam it's a SCAM. Don't listen to these people and DO NOT give them your information. I have been on these people's caller ID for YEARS and there is no way to stop the calls. For years it was Ann from account services. I would wait on the line, get a representative, and from the moment I tried to say I was uninterested, or begged to be taken off their call log, they would simply hang up on me. If you're on their list, good luck getting off. However, tell them nothing!
This neanderthal can't get through our call-blocking service, but the constant attempts (one ring before he's zapped) are annoying and we can't help wondering why anybody devotes their life to being annoying and too stupid to live.
Here's the problem. Once you're on a scam call-list, it's hard to get off one. Don't forget these goons buy, share, sell these numbers. I use call blocking, but had 3 numbers call me daily for 3 years. Since they use computers, voip, & software, the computer doesn't really care if I answer or not. A scam robodialer just calls. . .and calls. . . and calls. But you do have the right idea. Block them, do not call the numbers back.
