Just got a call from this number on my personal mobile phone. Answered it, heard silence for a second or two and then a busy signal. Must be some kind of broken autodialing system.
I adopted a pet on 2/28/08 and received a call today from this number. I have heard that some companies have machines call your house to see what time of the day you answer so that they know what time to have their people call you. This way their people aren't wasting their time calling when no one is home. Not sure if that's the case here or not.
We microchipped a dog in December and for the last month have been getting calls every Tuesday at the same time from this number. If we answer then it calls back again a few minutes later. I quit answering because no one was ever there. How do you get them to stop?!
I've gotten three calls from them, each time I answer it gives me a "beep, beep, beep." I too just adopted a pet with a microchip, two weeks ago. Don't know exactly how to get them to stop calling.
This nuimber is for Pet Care Insurance- if you call the num ber back you can request that your number be removed from there call list-- will take 24 hours for this to take effect. They will tell you to go on-line to WWW. PetConnect.com
Pet Insurance is a great ideal but there is the fact they can't fix there computer dailing system.
