Got a call from this number this morning. Caller ID just showed "Wyoming". I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message. Some people have posted that these people are raising funds for Children's Wish Foundation, and I have gotten several calls from them in the past. They want you to think that they are the Make-a-Wish Foundation, but they aren't. Children's Wish Foundation is a terrible charity and over half of its budget goes to pay for fundraising (approx. 46%) and administrative expenses.
Just rec'd a call and the female caller said they were getting ready to send out their donation envelopes for Breast Cancer Awareness and wanted to know if they could send me one, I politely declined and she said "have a great evening" and hung up.
have seen several calls on caller ID from this number. Today I was on another call and noted the beeping and the number. I am also on the do not call list. I just googled the number and it brough me to this site.
I think judging from what I have seen on this site maybe its time to fight back. Post this number to your friends on FaceBook and in your email contact list. ALONG WITH THE NAME THE PREVIOUS POSTER found... tell anyone who answers a CALL FROM THIS NUMBER TO RESPOND TO THE CALLER WITH I DON'T KNOW YOUR CHARITY AND DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN. IF THIS GETS SPREAD AROUND they will get tired of the negative publicity and bad rep.
