Standard spoof call from low life scum bottom feeders. Didn't recognize number and in this day and age, will not answer and unrecognized caller - more especially if they don't have the guts to display a name - spoofed though it would be. Could also be an equally lazy assed marketing outfit. There's no way an outfit trying that cold call approach would get my business in any case. (Dumb imaginative scam try this time using 011 as if it were not North America.)
I've received a handful of these as well, every day for a while starting not too long ago. I've only given my number in the HGTV entries this year. Based on previous privacy policies, I did not think they would sell the list to scammers, but I like that you're sharing possible sources from which our information could be coming. Like David's Bridal. They required everyone in our party to register and suddenly everyone started getting the same scam calls. It's good to know who isn't careful with our information.
