I just got a call from them as well. Automated phone call asking me to answer a survey on the nation's debt crisis. For my time I get a 2 day cruise to the Bahamas. Seriously???? I'm on the do not call list as well. Scammers....
Guess instead of taking you off their list they continue to call you - same robo call different telephone number: they use 310-362-7319, 2132899006 Got calls from them 12/30/11, 12/27/2011 and 12/21 and more in Nov.
This is yet another number calling with these stupid surveys. Sounds like its tied to scam activity. Why should anyone trust a caller that blocks their name and uses a residential number to fool more people into picking up the phone? Scumbags.
That's just wrong to get around the national do not call list that way. I'm sick and tired of these people and others like them ("Rachel" from credit card services for one; I did talk to a rep last week and asked him my own questions, like did he have my info in front of him -- he knew my name!-- and then I asked how he gets my info. He said they get lists from Experian. That's who I'm going to go after now. A letter to them with copies to my congressman and senators, and THEIR letters I'm going to tell them if they're going to make these laws, then they'd damn well better enforce them. At a penalty of $10k per wrongful call, they could haul in a lotta cash to settle our national debt!..)
