I just got a call from this exact number a few moments ago. Saying I had been entered into a sweepstakes and qualified for 6 publications of any major magazines. She wanted verification of my address, me being stupid I agreed with everything she said but now that I see all these replies I'm not so sure I shouldv'e done that. Unfortunately when I tried to call the number back to let them know that they were wrong, and somehow think of something to cover my mistake, I only got a busy signal as if they couldn't receive incoming calls. Now I'm a bit scared. =( I'm not sure what to do and being as I am only 17 and it was also under a fake name that I use to join sites, I never release my real name, not for anything. I doubt I will win anything or whatever else she was talking about. But still, fake name or not, they do have my address and cellphone number. Which I also don't give out over the computer. I hope no-one else makes the same mistake I did, regardless of how pleasant that woman was. She was the nicest telemarketer I have ever spoken to. lol And she actually spoke english! Ugh, I am so mad at myself now.
yep they called from 310.370.9486 didn't leave a message but you can bet they will NOT get any of my info. How are they getting our cell phone numbers? what can be done?
866-280-4252 310-370-9562 310-241-0012 plus this number, the harras me. this is a huge scam to drain your credit card and checking accounts. my boyfriends cousins boyfriend works for a major bank, and he says that this is the latest scam. he has dealt with several victoms. dont give them info. dont answer the call. most importantly dont buy online. the retailers you are buying from are selling your name, address, and phone number.
I just got a call like you guys mentioned just a busy signal when i called back and my id showed up as M S INC just let voice mail or answering machine get it! they will get the hint kept trying to call it rang someone answered and hung up!!!!!!
