today i received a call from JIM WILSON- AGA AND ASSOCIATES from an 817 number (817-522-4675) but asked me to return call to 607-235-0419...claiming the same, about a 1099-c .etc..

I received a call today showing from Arlington TX (682) 622-0946. I live in TX so didn't think much about answering. The ladies name is Casy Thompson from AGA. She said that I had a credit card from CitiBank (MC) which was opened in August 1993, and last payment made in 7/2000. I've never bank with CitiBank EVER! She claimed that I owe over $2700 and said if I didn't pay up by 6:00 PM today, she would be filing a 1099-C. I asked her what is a 1099 C; she claimed that since the debt was unpaid it was considered income. She did offer a settlement. I told her I worked for a law firm (which I do) and would be discussing with my attorney. She told me I could call her back at (310) 622-4972 by 3:00 PM tomorrow. If she didn't hear from me she would be filing the 1099 C. She even had my SS#. I asked her how she got my number and how she got my phone number. I have only a cell phone and I'm on the "Do not call list". Some good that does.
Besides, If this were my debt, the statue of limitations ran out 7 years ago. Who are these people???
This Eric guy keeps wanting my information, yet he claims he has affidavit with my social, although the Nick name he used does not pull up on my social, and why give his man what he claims to already have. I'm not in hiding, so send the info to me ..... ? But then i get some person has been declaired dead and my last name is CLOSE so we can split the amount, from a similar number/ email. Then a personal [***] needed ill send you 1500 cash it keep 800 and send me the rest again very close in information????? Riiiiiiiiight
