i get the sense that whoever makes these calls sense when they can pounce.. unsuspecting seniors or gullible. They just need to land a few of their prey.
These are continuing calls from telemarketer`s who want to cheat you out of your money and get your personal information. They do not care about the DNC laws. Honest telemarketers purchase from the govt the list of telephone numbers on the DNC list. These crooks of course are not going to spend money to secure a copy of the list. There is no way to stop them They use spoof numbers that they change on a continuing bases. If you are able to secure a name of contractor who is calling you then you can in CA go to web page for the state of ca. Go to contractors state license section put in the company name and it should give you the name of the company-location and phone number . You should also give you name of the owner of the company. Then you can report them. Never do business with a company who lies about their phone number and will not give their name or correct name on caller ID
