THIS GUY CALLED AND LEFT A THREATENING MESSAGE ON MY MACHINE TO SAY THAT I OWED MONEY AND THERE WERE CRIMINAL ACTS AGAINST MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER AND IF I DIDN'T TAKE CARE OF IT THEN HE WOULD HAVE NO CHOICE....BAD THINGS WOULD HAPPEN TO ME!
GLAD THAT I READ THIS AND LOOKED UP THE NUMBER BEFORE I CALLED IT BACK! I JUST HAD A GUT FEELING AND SOMETHING SEEMED OFF. NEXT TIME YOU GO FOR A PAYDAY LOAN....THINK YWICE BECAUSE THATS HOW THIS GUY GOT MY INFO.
I just received a call from this numner. Called from an alternate number. The number called the alternate number. I informed the individual with the middle eastern accent that I was aware of the other alias, i.e Victor Johnson, John Anderson, Michael Brown. That he was a part of a scam and that I would be reporting him to the Attorney General's office. Victor, or whatever his name was got upset and said that I wasnt going to speak to him like a servant. Clearly any debt collector would use those terms. I advised him to NEVER call my phone again. Thanks for the valuable information.
I have received numerous calls all about the same CashNet Loan also. They use different Company names and different numbers. Nationwide, Advance Check Processing, Tate & Kerlin and the most recent Ronnie Cooper. They are threatening to cancel my SS#. Really I do not think that is possible. However it is very upsetting to receive these phone calls and work. Now they have all my new information. I really appreciate all the posts here. Makes me feel better about ignoring these calls.
