Called my house 3x today. Got all offended when I called him (3rd caller) out on being a scammer after reading posts here. Hung up on him. Hopefully they got the message.
omg I almost fell for this scammer.....recv'd a voicemail to call back regarding a "civil suit" to call 844-747-3335 Patricia William....so of course I called back and was put on hold too long so I hung up. a few minutes later, Todd Shaw called me back on my work phone ( I used it to call them back) telling me they have caller ID. Told me my mom was being called into a civil suit, because she doesn't speak English he told me to have her call him to authorize him to talk to me. Asking me does she still live at such and such address....naming some of my family members addresses that i'm familiar with so of course i'm believing all this. Lucky my sister found this to be a scam so I called him back and told him do not call me or any of my family, which he denied it being a scam. I just hung up on him!!!! don't pick up on 844-747-335 or 310-746-4879!!!!!
This same guy (Todd Shaw) representing AFG has been harrasing me for 3 weeks now. I get calls at work, calls my parents, my sister and my wife at work. Claims I have a pending civil lawsuit against me for a 9 yr old debt that has been charged off. I have told him not to call my work ever again and he continues to do so. When he calls my job he changes his name and says hes a processor named Bob Peterson trying to serve me papers. I have no idea how he got my parents and my sisters cell #s. I actually called him back yesterday and told him that he could meet me at the police dept. in my home town and serve me whatever he's got. Of course then he proceeds to get angry and ask me do I know what fraud is?? I contacted AFG and they have had alot of complaints about this D-bag, and he does not work for them. He actually left a local phone number with my sister for me to call when he was posing as a "processor". I called it and it was my countys court house, Clerk of courts office. They had never heard of a "Bob Peterson" and had no one that worked there as a processor by that name. The gentleman at the court house also said that their processors would never call like this guy did, work,family members, or other wise. So I am at the point where I have filed complaints with the FTC and IFC3, but I may have to file a criminal report for harrassment.
