My caller ID from this number also said: NCO. They ask for a person that doesn't live here. When I told them that, they said that they'd remove my number and it would take up to 48 hours to do it. I have a high suspicion that it's a collection agency.
I wish some action could be taken against these scam telemarketers. I am in my 70's and unsure about how to go about making a complaint to those who could penalize them!
Same story here. They ask for Claudia [last name]. Though I've patiently explained she's not at this phone number, I don't know her, I've had this phone number of years, and to put me on their "do not call" list. Which they promise to do. Yet every day another call! I'm really fed up with them. I've reported them to the California State Attorney General. Maybe that will help.
Actually I got a call from 310-862-9031, Caller ID said it was NCO
Asked for Tom, Told wrong number and hung-up.
Then I googled <NCO 310> and found this site.....
