Yup, same thing. Was untrusting of "hackers" so wanted to send a cashier's check for $4000 and have me send $3000 of it to his contact. Ha ha ha, they really think that no one has heard of this scam?  Cashier's checks are the true sign of a scam, very often forged

Tried to hire DJ services was a scam.

Received a random call from this number (310-894-6260 from California and I am based in SC) on March 21, 2016.  It was a male with a thick accent, very hard to understand.  He asked if we were FULL EVENT PLANNERS, I told him no, we were mobile DJ's. (by this time I was already suspicious) and he said "Good, I want to hire you for a wedding anniversary party" ... I told him "I'm sorry, we only DJ weddings" he was confused and asked why we can't DJ a wedding anniversary.... I told him "because we are a Wedding DJ service"  ....He hung up on me.  :-)

Same here Wanda! He didn't hang up on me but he did email me his "event info." Had me on the phone but didn't ask ANY questions about our services. People -_-

im starting a new design, business, adam had reach out to me through updesk, same thing wanting designs for an event that keeps getting postpone. provides this email [email protected], i had tried running background checks on him nothing came up, if he reaches out you report him, he ruined my account. he also claims hes in a hospital /cancer going through treatments.
