I just got a call from Anchorage, Alaska, 907-570-4568. It was a recorded message that claimed to be the Bank of America fraud detection department, or something like that. It said there was suspicious activity on my account, then disconnected. I called Bank of America. They had not made that call.
Recieved a phone call from this number twice. First message was vague with no information as to who the caller was, stated it was in regard to taxes...the second call was from "Ron Ridley" saying he couldnt help me if I didnt call him back within that day. Scary, muffled voice. Completely annoying. Phishing/Scam call in my opinion.
Second call from "Ron Ridley"-used threatening tone if I didn't call this number - give me a break, I'm old but I'm not stupid. First call, he referred to an alleged Tax problem, if I didn't call back, he couldn't "help" me. Must be an unemployed actor!
