I just got a call from Anchorage, Alaska, 907-570-4568. It was a recorded message that claimed to be the Bank of America fraud detection department, or something like that. It said there was suspicious activity on my account, then disconnected. I called Bank of America. They had not made that call.
It is a name list seller who if they cant sell you name lists for your company at lease they now have your name that they match with your phone number when you call back & thus you are added to their name list for which they try to sell.
This is earning money the hard way!

Got 2 calls from this number. One was a guy "Ron Ridley" and the other was a woman. Both said basically the same thing--- if I didn't call them back, they couldn't do anything to help me. I called and ask them to remove my number from their calling list. What else can I do???
Sad attempt to get the person being called to call them. I laughed at loud at the message. Too funny.

I have received this same message twice as has my daughter and each time he says exactly as others have said: "Name is Ron Ridley. If you don't call me back right away I can't help you." Then leaves the phone number 310/954-1573. I called it back only to have a recording identify the site as "The Corporation" and no opportunity to leave a message. Probably attempting to be intimidating with his raspy threatening voice but it comes across as simply annoying. Get a job, idiot and quit bothering people.
