Received a call from this number. I was on another line. I called it back and got a message saying it was a verizon number that was no longer in service.
I received a call this afternoon. I get a lot of scam/telemarketer calls despite being on do-not-call list. Also most of these calls are from blocked lines. This call showed the phone but no name. Their automated dialer was too dumb to realize my answering machine had answered. It started to play the message about lowering credit card rates. If I hadn't been standing there I wouldn't have heard it. My machine switched to "record" mode, which disconnected the robo-caller so there was no recorded message. I get a lot of collection and telemarketer calls. My machine is my filter.
I just received a call from this number (310-986-9762) today (2/3/11) saying that their were no problems with my credit cards but they could possibly lower my interest to 6% to dial "9" to speak to a representative. When I did he was talking so fast that I could not understand what he said. Then he said "Hello" once again when I responded with "Hello" he hung up.
