I pressed the 9 and waited for a human to answer the phone. As soon as he started talking I asked if he knew about the no call list. He said they are not bound by that. I asked him to put my number on his no call list and he said he couldn't do it.
I then asked to speak to his supervisor, and he said he couldn't do this.
He then said he could give me a number to call to put me on their no call list.
The number was for some porn site!
I got a call from this number, and did a reverse look up and now I have a picture of their house in the suburbs and on map quest it showed they have 2 nice silver pickups and a nice home with an American flag. The address shown is 2609 Via Carrillo, Palo Verdes, Calif.......
Just filled out a complaint for this tel# with the Harbor City/LA Cty. police dept....(that is the local area for this tel. #). If you feel you are bothered, which all of you seem to be, then maybe you should all fill out a complaint form on the police website. I did, and I'm probably not the first, only I put harassment, because the call and don't leave message, or hang up.
Just got a new verizon number and got a call from this number. Tried calling it right back and it said "Welcome to verizon. The wireless number you have dialed has been changed or disconneced..."
