Good idea, I reported the # to the National do not call list and to the FTC via your link. Maybe if they get bugged enough they will finally do more about this junk. I can't say I felt bad when the news recently reported a roof collapsing on a call center.
same fraudulent activity, different hacked phone number that can't be traced. this activity is frustrating beyond belief.
the recorded message never identifies the company, just says 'press 9 to lower your interest rate on your credit card.' i always press 9 to speak to a live person - there is a lot of activity in the room from where they answer. this time, the man said his name and 'did you press 9 to lower your interest rate on your credit card?' I said, ' I pressed 9 to ask you not to call this number any more.' He said nothing and hung up.
the caller ID simply said 'Wireless Caller' and this number.
I filled out the complaint form....thank you very much Tootsie!!! Great idea!
Why are people allowed to do that....put a BOGUS number in for their phone number?!?!? Why doesn't the phone company STOP that?!??!
I got a call from 310-986-9762 on my cell indicating a wireless phone call from Lomita, CA, The caller did not leave a message. This is very annoying. Verizon should be block 310-986-9762, since it indicates the number is wrong or changed
