These jerks call me several times a week and this has been going on for years. I never answer but finally I thought I'd try to get off their list. As soon as I told a "representative" politely that I was not interested and to take me off their list, she hung up on me. So much for being civil and polite. I hope that karma catches up to those pieces of slime. The sad thing is that I was put on hold for about five minutes before I could talk to one of these creeps so there must be lots of people falling for this crap.
This call came in 1 second after they called and left a partial message. The first call phone number on the caller ID was 212-253-8732. So they are providing phony phone numbers on their transmission. Either way, it all is being reported to the FCC. Let the Feds take them down. I always file complaints with the FCC as my phone number is unpublished/unlisted and is on the Do Not Call Registry. No one, but no one has the right to call us without our asking them to do so.
Well, they dipped into their bottomless list of fake phone numbers and gave us another one to block. [Grin.]
I jgnored a call a few minutes ago and now I'm entering it into my call-blocking Panasonic cordless phone.
