Claimed to be 411 USA and were looking for businesses to add to their listings because the product we manufacture was in high demand. Told them we are in Quebec,Canada (which we are) and then they hung up. Seems like if they were legit they would have realized that we are not in the USA....
Woman asked for me by name and if I offer the particular service in my particular zip code. When I said that was correct, she "transferred me to her supervisor" which sounded exactly like the same woman if I'm honest, made me laugh out loud at the blatant lie. There was a lot of background noise. She promised me that THOUSANDS of potential clients will contact me if I list with them.... lmao I told her I can take like 5 new clients and I'm not interested in paying for the services she has to offer me. Then she hung up.
they called and ask "have i reached a business line?" I said no and they hung up right away. Sounded like a machine though. Not sure if this is a scam or not.
