Wanted to verify information. I researched this with my local agency and found that this company also does verification for credit card companies. Have any of you applied for credit cards recently?
This number just called me. I answered and it was an automated machine saying to hold for their varification services. Some place called career network. I hung up
Called me yesterday morning. Left a message claiming to be verifying info for a job I had applied for within the last week, and that they had tried to call before. I have no record of them trying to call before, and while I had applied for some jobs a few weeks ago, nothing within the last week. Everything seems to be automated, the message they left and when I called back. They ask you to be in front of a computer with internet access to "verify" the info you've already provided. When I get time I will call them back and fish them for info as it feels like a scam.
