Exactly the same happened to us! We sell roller derby skates in Australia. He said his customers in Thailand had inquired about the products he wanted to order... problem is a couple of them are custom skate builds that we made for our mates here in Brisbane and no one would even know about outside our group of friends or visiting our website (which doesn't have that much traffic from Thailand!)
We emailed him a quote and he sent us the information about the shipping company mentioned above (same addresses and phone numbers etc.)
We suspected a scam but everything seemed relatively legit (in an unbelievable way!) until it mentioned that the merchant pay for shipping with payment to Western Union. The only info regarding this scam we could find was this page by googling the phone number. We even google earthed this [***].
So would we. My son keeps getting calls from this guy about a $50,000 loan he's responsible for. My son is 16. When we call back, they get really nasty and use a lot of words that can't be repeated.
WHOEVER HAS THIS NUMBER IS PERSONALLY FROM THE ACCENT I THINK HES NIGERIAN
IS TRYING TO SWINDLE PEOPLE INTO SENDING FUNDS VIA WESTERN UNION FOR RENTAL OF APARTMENTS HE DOESNT OWN.
FIRST E MAIL CLAIMS HES A CHRISTIAN MISSIONARY WORKER LIVING IN KANSAS CITY SUBSEQUENTLY IF YOU REALISE ITS A SCAM HE SAYS HE WILL COME TO THE ADDRESS YOU PROVIDED TO SORT YOU OUT !!!!!
This phone number belongs to a scammer. Randy Regalado. Flash Courier and Cargo Service. Randy clams to own "Flash carrier and cargo" a service to deliver goods. Has a partner Paul Stewart whom claims to be in Australia, Paul will buy your products with a credit card and send extra money to Western Union money for shipping to Randy Regalado. Once the money is sent to Randy the credit card will be voided.
I received an email from Paul Stewart to buy product and have it shippped via Flash Courier & Cargo to his "store" in Sydney, Australia. He noted he would send the shipping cost & an extra $50 for the Western Union money order to be sent direct to Flash Courier. The cargo service stated they had an office in Kansas, KS and listed this 312 phone number. After finding the number came from Chicago and finding NOTHING while googling Flash Courier, I decided to do more checking. It sounds like Paul and Randy are still working together. Always beware when asked to send Western Union. Thank for this site. It pays to be leary.
