Exactly the same happened to us! We sell roller derby skates in Australia. He said his customers in Thailand had inquired about the products he wanted to order... problem is a couple of them are custom skate builds that we made for our mates here in Brisbane and no one would even know about outside our group of friends or visiting our website (which doesn't have that much traffic from Thailand!)
We emailed him a quote and he sent us the information about the shipping company mentioned above (same addresses and phone numbers etc.)
We suspected a scam but everything seemed relatively legit (in an unbelievable way!) until it mentioned that the merchant pay for shipping with payment to Western Union. The only info regarding this scam we could find was this page by googling the phone number. We even google earthed this [***].
Paul is still trying his scam. Got this message last week:

Subject: Order Inquiry
Hello, This mail is to make inquiry on the below question. 1- Do you carry overseas? (though i already know of a freight forwarder that will pick my packages from you, since they ship lesser than any other courier and they are so effective in shipping my goods to me here in Bangkok, Thailand is estimated to be 4-5days) I have used their services in the past and it was splendid. 2- Do you accept credit card for payment(my U.S.A Master and Visa card to be precise)? Kindly let me know your comments on these, before i send the items i am interested in purchasing from you.
Paul did the identical thing to our company beginning this week. Fortunately we recognized it to be a scam before it was processed. Thanks for the sharing of information!
