I get calls from this number and ignore them.
Have entered the name "DO NOT ANSWER!" in my cellphone, which takes calls switched from my home phone.
Another tactic when I am called from a solicitor.
I play the role of stalker and ask, "What are you wearing?"
If they describe innocuous outer clothing, "No. I meant what are you wearing under that?"
One woman told me I couldn't talk to her like that but I reminded her that she had called ME.
Just act real friendly and swarmy and see if you can get under their skin.
Annoyed was not telling us "to listen to a very important message". Annoyed was telling us what the message said. It doesn't take much common sense to figure that out.
I also live in Grayson, GA. These jerks call and will not leave a message. Sick of it. Why can't they be stopped for good. Don't we have any laws they work..
I received a call from this number for the first time today while I was out. After Binging it, the only data that came up with 800notes. This site ROCKS! Since the thread is so short having started yesterday (11/16/11) it must be a new "company" [I use the term VERY loosely] and obviuosly not-legit. No message left here either so added them to my Do Not Allow Through List (Private Black List). Next time, it will only ring once.
These calls are super-frustrating to me, too. But using a smart-moden and the teleblocketing blocker (www.kengolf.com) helps a lot. Like Joe suggests, track and record ALL bogus calls and report them EACH TIME to the Do Not Call & FCC!
