I get calls from this number and ignore them.
Have entered the name "DO NOT ANSWER!" in my cellphone, which takes calls switched from my home phone.
Another tactic when I am called from a solicitor.
I play the role of stalker and ask, "What are you wearing?"
If they describe innocuous outer clothing, "No. I meant what are you wearing under that?"
One woman told me I couldn't talk to her like that but I reminded her that she had called ME.
Just act real friendly and swarmy and see if you can get under their skin.
I was told that I'd been selected to take part in a survey on the handling of the nation's debt crisis. For this thirty second survey, I'd receive a two day cruise in the bahamas, paid for by the sponsor (port fees and taxes extra ).

ESG Research; I called back, it rang approimately 30, and then a recorded msg picks up saying "..this is ESG Research, you have been selected to participate in a survey about the current credit crisis...if you would like to take part in the survey press #1, if you would like to decline and be removed from the calling list press #9.....I press #9, and I then get a rehash of the same message....press #1 to take the survey or press #9 to be removed from the list....again I press #9.
I then just dumps my call out into the ether.
Why do we have a Do Not Call list is everyone is still calling?
